Konami heeft lucht gekregen van deze afbeelding en heeft direct laten weten hoe de vork in de steel zit. Onderstaande mail is afkomstig van Konami Customer Support naar aanleiding van een gamer die vraag heeft gedaan of dit echt waar is. De mail van Konami ging als volgt;
“Dear xxxxxxx,
Thank you for reporting this issue. The listing of Trophies in the Greatest Hits edition of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots is a printing error that we are aware off. We are working with Sony to correct this error.
Unfortunately, at this time there are no plans to patch trophy support into this game.
We apologize for any inconvenience that this may have cause and we hope you will continue to enjoy the experience that Metal Gear Solid 4 has to offer.

Konami Customer Support”
Het lijkt er dus op dat we vooralsnog geen Trophies zullen krijgen voor Metal Gear Solid 4.
